Our Personal Statement review services.

Dream it.

Personal statements are personal to you & no one can take that away from you. At RoadtoMed we review your personal statement to be the best reflection of you. We don’t believe that barriers to information and essay writing skills should stop anyone from having a glowing and impressive personal statement. We offer personal statement reviews, guidance on writing and structure as well as personal consultation on how best to express your experiences and traits.

Write it.

UCAS will be receiving a lot of personal statements and it is important important to grab their attention right from the start. You have about two sides of A4 (4,000 characters) to summarise following:

  • Why have you chosen this course & what excites you about the subject?

  • Is your study relevant to the course?

  • How did you prepare yourself to study this course, have you got any work experience?

  • What relevant life experiences have you had and what achievements are you proud of?

  • What skills do you have that make you outstanding for the course & what ambitions do you have for your future career?

Review It.

We recommend that you use UCAS personal statement builder to initiate your first draft. It is important that you do not use AI text generators or copy others personal statements. You must also proof read your personal statement before submitting it to us for review. Along with your PS, please also send a bullet point list of your grades, subjects, extra curricular activities, hobbies, volunteering, work experience, achievements, sports participation and your general strengths.

At RoadtoMed, we will review your personal statement to ensure following:

  • It highlights the strengths and weaknesses of your draft.

  • It will comment on the structure and content from the perspective of a person that does not personally know you.

  • That you have, through your writing demonstrated your skills, knowledge and experience are relevant to studying medicine or dentistry.

  • That you have demonstrated motivation to study medicine.
